We read many thoughtful lists for buying local when we talk about organic produce, restaurants and food trucks. I believe the same reasons apply when hiring a local contractor and getting the job done. As a cleaning service contractor we care about what happens in our community and about the businesses we work with. We meet friends, family and acquaintances at the job site, in traffic, on the sidewalk, and at the local restaurant.

The commercial carpet cleaning industry serves a number of corporate headquarters, office buildings, hotels, banks, government facilities, call centers and senior care centers. When partnering with a local service company and creating a relationship that makes buying local and supporting the community a source of pride, these businesses put their dollars to good use in integrity and trusted support.

Are these 15 reasons valid not only for individuals but for businesses? Is there a move to purchase not only food locally but services? We think so. Allow me to repeat a few of the long lasting benefits: the money stays in the community to build strong, vibrant, unique places to live, work and play. People are empowered and passionate about their neighborhoods. What can be better than that?
